Grand Connect

The Early Church Series
Kevin Seaton will be guiding us through a 3-session course that will be held the first 3 Tuesday evenings in November. We will marvel and appreciate how Christ rapidly grew His church beyond an initial small group of Jewish followers to an empire-wide church largely consisting of Gentile believers. The first 3 centuries were known for God rapidly expanding the church, but also known for the persecution against believers.

Northstar Men's Breakfast
Come join us for breakfast on Saturday, October 30th from 7-9AM at Northstar Church. This is a time for fellowship and socializing. Nothing to bring, but an appetite and a friend! Hope to see you there!

Children's Ministry Training
If you are a new children's ministry volunteer or you are interested in learning more about becoming a children's ministry volunteer you are invited to attend a training Sunday, October 17th after the 9AM service at 10:30! It will be a time of learning, fellowship and fun! Snacks and free childcare will be provided. If you plan on coming please RSVP so we have plenty of food and babysitters!

College Sunday Series
Starting October 24th, join our College Ministry for a 4-week series designed to equip students with a greater awareness of the subtlety of these challenges surrounding Faith and Science. The dates include October 24th, 31st, November 7th, and 14th. This will take place in the Jumpstart Room. Visit northstarfamily.org/events for all the deets and RSVP!

Ladies Saturday Book Study
In Matthew 11, Jesus describes himself as "gentle and lowly in heart," longing for his people to find rest in him. Join us as we dive deep into Bible passages that speak of Christ's affections for sinners and encouraging believers as they journey, weary, faltering, toward heaven.

Harvest Hoedown
Join us for the 8th annual Harvest Hoedown Sunday, October 24th from 5pm-8pm at Sinkland Farms. There will be hayrides to the pumpkin patch, a corn maze, line dancing, and dinner. All of these activities are included in each ticket. Pumpkins are available as an additional purchase. This is a fun event for everyone and a great time to invite friends!
